Purchasing Administrator

As Purchasing Administrator, you will be expected to provide support to the Sales Desk whilst also liasing with suppliers to raise orders for stock, Back to Back orders and chasing up deliveries. Other duties will include:

  • Maintaining records of all purchase orders;
  • Updating information on Sage, CRM and purchasing databases;
  • Assisting in communicating PO numbers with suppliers;
  • Support other areas of the organisation;
  • Arranging the return of stock to suppliers and the relevant credits;
  • Maintain database of suppliers;
  • Sourcing alternative suppliers to achieve best product and prices.

This varied position would suit someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and with previous purchasing experience. Experience of Microsoft Office is essential.

Sage X3 Systems Support

Your role as Sage X3 Systems Support will be to help move forward the implementation of the software, initially for our main Company and then with other companies within the Group.

The role will also involve understanding the many parameters that X3 has to offer and the effect this has on processes within the day to day running of the business.

You will be part of the Zell-Em Group IT team reporting to the Financial Controller.

Your main duties will include:

  • Working with the Sage X3 Project Manager and IT Manager to successfully progress with the implementation of X3 system for Bestplate and subsequently other Group companies
  • Identify and streamline process flow for each module and document it accordingly.
  • Design reports/ data extract from X3 to validate and satisfy existing requirements.
  • Train X3 users to satisfactory level, with user signoff
  • Effective and regular communications with other personnel within the Company.
  • To support the other X3 members in achieving the necessary standards of service required and expected by the Company
  • Liaise with our Sage X3 support partner to resolve issues
  • Compliance with Zell-em Group policies and procedures particularly respecting Internal Control Procedures

The successful candidate will have:

  • Practical proven experience of Sage X3 implementation
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Training others to get the best out of Sage X3
  •  Crystal report writing/ amendment
  • Able to work on own initiative and under direction and have flexible attitude
  • MS office applications – particularly Excel, and Word

Group Head of Sales

We are currently looking for a strong driven individual who can take full autonomy of the sales and marketing function across all sectors of the business. Delivering future strategy, changing current culture and perception to achieve customer retention, development & acquisition.

The role will also involve the responsibility of developing long term partnerships with key accounts.

Reporting to the Managing Director:

The Role:

  • Overall responsibility for strategy, direction and growth of the sales division.
  • Implement a highly effective, efficient, dynamic sales processes.
  • Develop sales plans and KPI’s to enable the achievement of the corporate goals.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Create and manage CRM database and central sales function.
  • Develop and implement strategy to create strong customer partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislation within the market sectors.
  • Manage key relationships with strategic partners.
  • Part field based and part office based.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 years’ experience in a Senior Management/Director position, with a proven track record of success and innovation.
  • You will be dynamic, self-motivated and results focussed with strong business and organisational skills.
  • You will be hands on, positive, energetic and charismatic leader, and be a natural communicator with great influencing skills.
  • Must be IT literate and possess a driving licence.
  • Having sales experience in the automotive sector would be a strong advantage.
  • Formally recognised sales skills and management training.
  • An understanding of marketing communications and channels, and ability to implement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others.
  • An excellent negotiator.
