Now let’s dive into the details and see what all the craic is about!
Despite the public being teased of its opening at the start of August, production for us had already begun. We fitted the outer building with temporary Self-Adhesive Vinyl (SAV) window graphics consisting of the first glimpse of brand identity, advertisement of the venue to ignite intrigue for the general public and ensure privacy was maintained for the inside of the venue.

External Signage
The external work we completed truly encompasses the extent of what we do here at Granthams Signs and Graphics. The temporary SAV window graphics were replaced with differing SAV more fitting to the venue now it’s open i.e. ‘Whiskey and Ales’, ‘Sports Shown Live’ and their own branded logo- all in their signature green and gold colours. Moreover, external A3 gold display cases were fitted to display poster advertisements to aid the venue, such as, deals and also live music with date and times information held.

Also seen within this image, we created and applied a transparent version of Nellys logo highlighting just the gold lettering of their signature logo. These were curated of SAV that was reverse applied in the venue windows as well as the inner doors of the building.

The front of the building holds most of our signage solutions, starting with displays made from Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) panels further advertising the main features of the venue through applied vinyl and digital print. ACM was further utilised across the board with ACM panels fitted over can existing mounted frame left buy pervious owners, displaying ‘Nelly Mulligans’ in their signature gold lettering outwardly toward the foot traffic.
Highlighting its heritage with the Irish flags displayed by doubled sided ACM panels on steel frames with applied SAV. These panels are externally illuminated with Light-Emitting Diode (LED) floodlights - making them visible down the street.
Lastly, ACM fascia panels with applied SAV across the signage boarder of the venue continuously advertising the highlights of their venue I.e. ‘Irish Public House’ and ’Live Music’ in white to stand out from the continuous gold lettering.
The main event of our external signage, the most prominent of the Nelly Mulligans signage. These mounted letterings were created through laser cut foam and spray painted their iconic gold colouring. The lettering is made to pop through not only by the lights that shine onto them, but the black and gold vinyl lettering in the background, giving the already 3D lettering even more dimension.

Internal Signage
As you enter the establishment, you will be met with neon signs, specifically the red neon sign above the stage, further displaying the bars identity. This neon sign is made with clear red, meaning the outer glow of the red makes the white inner lettering stand out that much more - so identity is clearly legible. Despite all attention being on the live music consisting on the stage, eyes will still be drawn to where they are, keeping the brand in the forefront of everyone’s minds and visions.
Neon signs continue further into the venue with way-finding, specifically a toilets sign, is utilised through neon glow. This time with white accompanied by pink and blue neon. Beneath the neon way-finding, further ACM is present inside with a large scale ACM panel with applied SAV of the brands logo loud and clear - right in the centre at the top of the stairs.

Clothing
Clothing provided through Beaver International, the staff were knitted out with bespoke workwear that channelled Irish authenticity. Bar staff uniform consisted of a Uneek Classic Polo shirt in colour Bottle Green. This garment was customised with branded embroidery on the front left chest with ’Nelly Mulligans’ in gold lettering.
Moreover, on the front right chest, the Guinness logo was also embroidered using it’s classic white font. Present on the back of the polo is custom branded lettering curated through Direct to Garment (DTG) transfer with the Nellys logo in classic gold lettering and the slogan ’The Best Craic In Blackpool’ in white.
Manager uniforms give a more clean and professional look with white shirts fitted along with a Brook Tavener Tweed Waistcoat. Like the polos, the waistcoat also upon the front left chest has the brand ’Nelly Mulligans’ logo embroidered with gold lettering.
